At least she is using the photo of an actual aborted fetus and not the usual two-month old baby.

Concerned, I think you’re unfair here. I think most pro-lifers (who are people, just like you and me) do not condone the murder of doctors.

KelleK, quite right. The argument is whether or not the legal killing should continue to be legal.

@the cartoon: People killing doctors is not an argument for abortion or against the pro-life movement, so I have to say the cartoon is pointless. If he were handing the photo to an actual doctor-killer then fine. But it implies the incorrect statement that Pro-Life supports doctor murder.

They also never show a picture of a blastophore, or an anencephalic. A picture can also be false rhetoric.

I know what a 10 weeks old foetus looks like, I had a miscarriage. The child was wanted and I saw it all too realistically smudged on a tampon, at three AM in the bathroom. I didn’t know what happened to me then, I only knew it when I went to the hospital because of that.

I remember seeing a huge blood clot the size of the palm of my hand, that looked like a peice of raw liver. No tiny arms, no tiny feet as displayed in pro-life pictures.

But if that wasn’t a living thing already, It wouldn’t hurt so much right now, yet that is different from the death of a born person. I guess the death of an embryo is a death, yet not like the death of a person. The death of what could have existed.

CF my condolences on that loss. It doesn’t matter how far along you are if you want a child and are looking forward to the child – it hurts. And that has nothing to do with whether or not it is a person or merely a potential person.
