Time has stood still for this story. Skeezix and Nina entered the theatre the night of March 13th and here it is April 22 and they are still there! So in the comic strip world time has stayed to tell the story and when it’s done time will speed up again to catch up with the present.
…maybe i need that to bring back fond memories since much of it is clouded by the clutter of recent immediate concerns….and some of the past is blocked psychologically…hopefully never to be remembered
It was in 1944 when my usually too slow driving Dad raced Mom to the hospital and got her through the front door just in time, totally ignoring the cop with the siren chasing him. I was born years later, but this story line is bringing life into that time period in more ways than one, almost like being there. I love this story line, and I love this comic strip.
I wish it were setting things up for a stry line with Chipper and family who have not appeared in the strip in a verylongtime but I am probably out of luck-

So far this hypnosis is a new device to recap some of the strip’s past.

Why is Jim doing this? To celebrate Skeezix and Nina on their 70th wedding anniversary? His anniversary doing GA?

Chipper and Amy haven’t appeared except incidentally at large gatherings in ages, but their twins had a storyline not too long ago
