Good Morning All. You gotta be an early bird to catch you guys. This is a great story…Dick Tracy, Diet Smith and Mysta Moon Maid have come back to life….along w/ a cast of misfits…cool,,

Anything concerning Diet Smith will prove interesting…..

I should add that whatever it is, it’s something secretive enough that Diet doesn’t want to discuss it over the phone.

Ok, we’ve been setting this story up since departing from the scene of Nitrate and Sprockets (apparent) demise TWENTY SEVEN days ago…..good thing they don’t have to call it a wrap after 6 weeks anymore, huh?

Another twist in the plot! I assume this is all leading somewhere, but right now it’s very hard to see what may emerge as the main thread! I would welcome any news of the “lost” Space Coupe, if Diet Industries has monitoring capabilities….

diet’s gonna snitch on vera… either that or bardoll is still alive and the space coupe has returned to nest! lol

So ummm, Silver and Nitrate are STILL sitting in Flattop, Jr’s car at the bottom of the lake?

I agree, this is probably about the space coupe or Mysta. I guess it could be some new news unrelated to anything we know yet.

Maybe he’s invented a new “Diet” drink.

Well, we’ll see what this new twist is all about. Perhaps a resolution to the fate of Drs. Ghote and Sail and the Munroe brother who went up with them?

Of course Buck Rogers lives. He’s just currently taking a very long nap he won’t wake up from for another 400+ years yet.

Tracy and Diet were thick as thieves back in the day. Not only to discuss Diet’s latest gizmos, because it wasn’t uncommon for the two of them to team up on police work. Case in point, Diet and Tracy were together continuously between June 2 – July 23 1967, fifty-two consecutive days of the strip, as they visited the moon, pursued the Chin Chillars in space, damaged one space coupe and then renewed their pursuit in another.It would be nice if they could work out the tensions between them and team up again as friends.

Here’s a great story line; Diet recalls the space coupe and when it lands out walks….Silver Nitrate and Sprocket.Meanwhile Drs.Goate and Sail are submerged in a frozen over lake somewhere in Flattop Jr.’s car.

I’ve always wondered – is Diet’s name pronounced like “going on a diet to lose weight,” or is it pronounced “deet” (short for “Dieter,” maybe?)
