How exciting… you can now sign up for getting junk mail from insurance companies selling products you don’t need, or could get elsewhere, if you did need them.
At least for me, my short lived AARP membership was simply an irritation.
Even their lobbying of Congress seemed more related to the their insurance sales functions than looking after the needs of Seniors.
