Aunt Fritzi: You DON'T think you're DRESSING like THAT for SCHOOL, Nancy!
Nancy: We've got our PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST in gym today and I'm psyching myself up!
At least Nancy is serious about physical fitness. Maybe she will grow up to be like one of the most favorite teachers at the school I went to when I was a little girl. Mrs. Francis was active in about every sport available in Small Town California, and she taught us a different 1960s era attitude that females can excel in sports or at least enjoy doing our best at them. I can see Nancy growing up to be an active woman.
I was Nancy’s age in the early 1960s, so I remember when a “lady” wasn’t suppose to run marathons and weren’t allowed to enter. In fact, they weren’t suppose to walk fast “like they were running with the wind”. Thanks to Mrs. Francis, some of us learned early it was okay.
Thanks, everyone! Fun one today to draw! BTW, TODAY’S DOGG is back! And in higher art resolution than ever before. In celebration of you hanging in there last month as we went through technical problems, we will have a new DOGG each day this week! Thanks again!

Sorry guys, but some runners look just like Nancy. In fact some of them finish marathons. They don’t win, but they do finish 26.2 miles.
