I was a preschooler when the twist came out, but my teenage sisters taught me how to do it. It brings back fun memories of doing the twist while warming up around the oil stove and them laughing about the stupid school rule that banned the twist at dances.

In college I could twist myself all the way down and kick my legs out like a Cossack. Not so limber now.
