Remembering some of the hideous sneeze faces that Calvin pulled, I can totally understand Petey’s feelings. The loss of control and dignity! I never thought of it before, but he’s the anti-Calvin of cartoon boys.

Gotta love Alice’s curiosity, opening one door after another (kinda symbolic, it seems), and her solicitude for her neurotic big brother….

and they can go all wrong.

And sneezing can be dangerous! Since it is impossible to keep one’s eyes open during a sneeze, I have occasionally had difficulty keeping my car in its lane when hit with a rapid string of multiple sneezes. I’m sure there must be a few auto accidents attributable to sneezing when the pollen count is high.
