Oddly enough, like using a cellphone in public today, back a few centuries it was viewed as the height of bad manners to be reading a book in public…

Wait….it is the height of bad manners to use a cell phone in public? Someone should alert the media!

Re: The repeated comments today, I just put this on the previous comic I read: “[Name of commenter], my gocomics.com is slow today, also. After you post something, you have to wait awhile for it to “take.” If you keep clicking on “submit,” it’ll show up however many times. Then you belong to delete the extras.”

The funniest thing about this is, Danae, by staring at Kate till Kate was forced to look up, was the very essence of rudeness.

Unfortunately Danae is taking some of her initiatives from the obscene currents of present political atmosphere which practices such unethical behavior.

Isn’t using an outdoor voice indoors considered rude?

When our children drop in to visit us we’ll sit around and try to catch up on how things are going… except they are constantly texting and reading texts or even watching videos on their phones while mom and dad try to hold a conversation…

So, I have begun picking up a book and reading while they are texting… the silence gets very loud and eventually either the phones get put away or the kids leave… Some day they may get the point… or not.

Pardon me for being oblivious on this point……but since when did Danae have to read a book to A) Ignore everything around her , and B) Appear to be rude….Just curious.

Danae must be bored.
