The third panel is supposed to look like the edge of a stage. The humps at the bottom are “footlights”. It is in Nate’s imagination, I think.

It was mentioned Jenny wanted to play Lucy. For Nate are two perks of being Snoopy more.
1. Sometimes, Lucy hugs Snoopy;
2. Some days, Snoopy pecks Lucy on her nose.
