Love the Escher art, my very favorites are a few of people who live in that same or similar world those creatures do.
Copyright law and its interpretation is getting scary these days, not used to put works into the public domain and thus the culture after a few decades but rather has been stretched out in duration and interpreted to line the pockets of corporations and lawyers. There is a Dutch company that owns the copyright to Escher’s drawings; they didn’t make the art, they didn’t inherit the art (Escher’s sons had copyright for a while), but they control its use.
