Good to see ol’ Marty back in action. That flask, or whatever it is, looks like it’s big enough to get him through a 7 inning high school game.

Jeez, change his name from Lucky to Cocky. He sounds more like a jerk every day.

Have to say, Lucky’s teammates seem very happy about his tough break. Maybe they’re sick of him, too.

Sorry, fellow Thorpe readers, three comments in a row is wearing out my welcome. But “Driven deep to the right”? Driven deep to right, or driven deep to right field, sure. I’ve never heard any announcer say a ball was driven deep to the right. But I’ve never heard Marty Moon, who appears to be looking down at a nonexistent TV monitor instead of out at the field.

Those guys in the dugout look like they’re in their forties.

In all reality, from the look on Marty s face in P2 I can almost hear him slurring his words just like Harry Carey. Do you know that Lucky said backwards is pronounced Ykcul ?

Is this meandering plot ever gonna end?! What’s the conflict?! We’re getting into summer – maybe time for anothe Coach Kaz mystery.

In all reality, after a lenghty interview with John Pascoe Sgt Rock prepares to head off to the Milford VFW for a frozen pizza dinner, some video poker and to watch ultimate fighting.

If you look closely, you can read part of Moon’s grocery list in P2: corn flakes, bourbon, soup, bourbon…

P1- damn, for a minute I thought the peacock had returned! Or, is that the sound of a bat hitting the peacock?P3- is that the mute Pascoe on the bench?

On to Milford CC I say! Gil’s patronage job is awaiting!

I’m not sure if the guys in the dugout are out of a 1930’s gangster film, or if they are the extras who didn’t make it out of the cornfield in “Field of Dreams.”

Hmm…P2 sure looks familiar. A quick jump back to a year ago today and another day for good measure finds the exact same panel with different words. Sad thing is, my comment THAT day is identifying the panel as a repeat from an even earlier day.

Lots of great comments today, many helped me crank out today’s MUT.Don’t forget to check back late tonight/tomorrow for part 5 of the special Sunday MUT. I finished it Monday and have been itching to post it! Best one yet (in my not-so-humble opinion).

A strike is just inches from being a homer. Or is there more to it?—Tough break for Lucky? You didn’t need the runs?

If that Krak were a Kerrr-Rack!, The Lucky Man woulda gone yard, smashing Wildcat Maris’ penthouse 2nd story picture window. Marty is no Harry Doyle, however, the sippy cup does give him the Chinese eyes.
