It has always puzzled me that there is such venomous hatred towards the Nazis, but an almost dismissal, if not forgiveness, from the left of the Communists i.e.. Stalin, Pol Pot, Mau, etc. and they killed and tortured more than the Nazis.
@trainman the Russians were our Allies in the total war against the Nazis, so they have that. Then a lot of communist atrocities were within their own closed borders, out of sight out of mind. Maybe not more actual numbers than the Nazis.
