Somehow, I don’t think Clark has quite caught on that Catchem is going to take what he needs regardless of what Clark thinks of it…..I look for Clark to either try to bribe Catchem or take a powder.
Sam won’t get pushed around will he? Clark has too much incriminating evidence all over. There is even more to this than what we know so far, I have a feeling.
I’m starting to suspect a sting operation where Clark’s only pretending to be corrupt. Surely Samuel L. Jackson can’t be a bad guy, except sometimes when directed by Tarantino.
Hide things from Catchem, Tracy and the MCU? Fella, you can run but you can’t hide. It’s one team that does not lose. (And they will find Silver and company, should they ever come back to town…)
So for dinner tonight I made sloppy joes, browning up a pound of lean angus beef I bought at the store today. My cats come up and pester me, and so I say, “Go away, cats. This isn’t tabby angus.”
y’know, i almost said “can sam take that hard drive without a warrant” but then i remembered he was waving one ini front of him when he stormed in yesterday.
Ya know, if Sam’s smoking bothers anyone in particular, I suggest they quit reading the strip. Better yet, take some time off from the bridge patrol and go to a rock concert. Be sure to sit high up in the upper level.
I read Mike’s post on the DT Fan Club Facebook page. He says the Nitrates will be back for an arc in January. That should settle whether or not they are dead.
Mike also posts on Facebook that “Notta” much happens in the summer story.
In addition, he addresses the issue of the loose ends:
“You know I rarely comment on the comments on the GoComics board, but I do feel compelled to explain something going on. We used to have a short story deadline, with only so long to tell a story, and many of these tales required more. So we started having several criminals excape to set up another short tale to finish them off. Now that we have the story length relaxed, it has left me with several plot threads unresolved. So we will get to the Nitrates, the Blackhearts, Kadaver, Mrs Flattop, it’s just gonna be a while. But I think we will give you a more pleasing story by doing so.”
Is Jeff Clark really so slow on the uptake that he thinks he can threaten Sam Catchem with ominous empty words? The only one who really doesn’t get what is involved here is Jeff. Maybe if he were smart, he’d see that this is time for him to roll over on Ed Rosato and Tabby Angus….
Sad how the paper, rather than the writer, tries to dictate thelength of the story. Especially when Mike is trying to continue the strip in the high standards of Chester G. but is not allowed the same luxuries lengthwise…….Gould’s greatest stories and characters (Flattop, Pruneface, etc) were involved in lengthy stories that rocked from beginning to end.
.Gould’s greatest stories and characters (Flattop, Pruneface, etc) were involved in lengthy stories that rocked from beginning to end.I certainly agree with you there. We never worried about how long they were, because we were enjoying reading them. To be fair, I’ve read most of Gould’s work in reprint collections, not day-to-day, but I still think they were great daily story telling.
Wow the suspense the past few days is totally intense!!! The artwork and color scheme are award winning, trophy worthy!! I’d be shocked if newspapers aren’t lining up to run the strip in their dailies once again!!!
@Robotech_MasterNobody’s said anything yet about how you really shouldn’t unplug a hard drive while it’s still in use?
Who said it was in use?
Jeff was typing on a keyboard when Sam came in, so it would certainly appear that the computer containing the hard drive was in use before Sam unplugged it.
Golly Gee Whiz Gweedo, it’s so nice to have you back. All of us here at camp Tracyville sing as a choir in one unified voice, expressing our gratitude and appreciation to all the good work being done here. There’s no room for naysayers, and I’ve seen the light!!!
Welcome back! SDM/avenger was your “penalty boxmate?” We need to run you through the Clorox wash. I hope you smoked forty packs back-to-back, blowing an equal amount of smoke that he blows on other people.

I think all Sam has to say is, “Clark, would you like to see this plastered all over the evening news?”

Another thing, why is Clark wearing his piercings during working hours?

Clark might do well to start talking. It’s better to admit it now, than have them find out.

I wonder if Clark is related to Phishface, I see a slight resemblance.

Clark may be starting to wonder “when did the MCU become Internal Affairs?”
