when I was a paperboy, I had over forty customers. Most of the time I used my bike and delivered the papers from a paper bag that had a big pouch in the front and in the back….so you had to disperse from both sides to keep the balance from being uncomfortable.
the newspapers in the fifties were longer, wider and thicker than they are these days.
