The roommate’s cat hated me for the first 6 months after I moved in, go so far as to fight me like I was a giant cat. Then she discovered that I’m a font of treats, catnip, opening doors, and playtime if she looks cute, meows just right, and brushes up against my leg before leading me to what she wants. Now she’s only aggressive in a gimme sort of way on Monday’s if she doesn’t score some nip for her depression when the owner disappears for work.
