Either that, or he got so into that dog food that he scooted the bowl away pretty far…and now some other dog is not only short a meal but a dog bowl too…
Actually, with all the scoots, I think LD did get a good meal out of that. We actually had an elderly dog who took himself for a walk one night…more than a mile north, across a six-lane road and another mile-and-a-half north before he collapsed, exhausted, on someone’s lawn. I was getting ready to take my bike out with a “body bag” looking for him by the following afternoon when I got a call from a police department I had contacted that someone had called in a "sick dog’ on their lawn. I was VERY grateful. And much more careful after that.
scottie………..think about what you’re saying. The name of this comic is “Little Dog LOST”. If he is found, no more comic strip! That’s why he sometimes runs past the ‘lost’ poster, but he doesn’t see it. Or, once he was near a house that he thought was deserted, but as soon as he passed it, smoke started coming out of the chimney. I suppose that, if the decision is ever made to end the strip, maybe he will be found. But, until then, he will remain lost!

My dog scoots his bowl all over the house. It’s a good thing we don’t feed him outside.

I need LDL to be found by his previous owner(s). I am really ready for the backyard adventures of LD and Tortie. This is just braking my heart.
