Perhaps because there’s no such thing as Zombies? or perhaps those might be stuffed animals? or perhaps if every hunters ‘trophy head mount’ could come back to life to avenge their demise? -tough for them to get around though with that board stuck to their neck.

Nah, can you imagine the budget for a herd of one hundred zombie dogs? Not one hundred cats, they’d never go in one direction.

Frankly, I’m kinda burned out on zombies. Hollywood has done a massive (if you’ll pardon the expression) overkill on the genre, IMHO.
