Lame indeed. How about “Little House on the Prairie” instead? That’s 203 episodes (about one-quarter less that “Gunsmoke”).

Good one! I DVR Gunsmoke for my husband all the time. Marshal Dillon too! Got him an autograph picture of James Arness for Christmas about 6 years ago.
