Barista: So, how's your writing going now? Adam: Well... Barista: What? You're in your favorite booth. Adam: I know. I am. But... The music. What is this. A mix? On repeat? Is that how it works? Barista: Go on. Adam: If I hear "Mambo Italiano" on emore time, I may have to stuff mocha chip muffins in my ears.

The “digest” didn’t come to my inbox, but I can see everything perfectly if I go to gocomics.com. And the recipe sounds delicious; thanks!

The “digest” didn’t show up in my mailbox this morning, but everything is fine at gocomics.com. BTW, Alex, that recipe sounds delicious. I’m going to try it today, I think. Thanks.

Though I readily acknowledge that Adam’s being nitpicky now, I can relate. Those repeating songs get weary very quickly, especially when you work there.

Just thought about it… I go to Starbucks, Caribou, and Dunn Brothers (my preference because they are a local outfit), and never do I see booths. Tables, overstuffed chairs; but, never booths.

This made me go to YouTube where I enjoyed having Rosemary Clooney take me back to my childhood with the 1954 original. BUT…
The even bigger treat was hearing the song as background to a compilation of film clips of the goddess Sophia Loren at her most luscious. If you are a male with any red blood cells, WATCH IT!!

If the song mix is changed – Adam will find something else to cloud his mind. .. No that can’t be right. Adam’s mind is already cloudy.
