The esteemed host looks pretty hale (however obese) for a guy who is probably in his 70s. Note the 1965 copyright in Panel 2; by that year the youngest General der Panzertruppe, Walther Wenck, turned 65.

I’m guessing von Kraup was one of the more senior (thus older) generals, considering his ranks on the postwar Nazi hunters’ “most wanted” list, and that he managed to find a whole bunch of loot and keep it out of Goring’s hands.

He’s going to need a lot of guards to get that buffalo carcass out of there. That thing would be heavy. Maybe he has a tractor to do it.

Meanwhile the lion is having his nap, otherwise no one could get within 10 feet of the dead beast.

Come on now Tarzan, you’re the self-professed “Lord of The Jungle”…..grab that guard’s spear and plunge into Von Krapps nazi heart. Thrown HIS carcass to the lion and release Moshe! :)> KillFatnazisAGowa!!

Bare handed, plenty. He just gets them in his signature Full Nelson and then does what comes naturally. Works on everything from leopards to cheetahs, panthers and lions. Does not work on elephants, rhinoceroses, hippopotamuses, or snakes. (Do not try this at home…seriously.)
