That’s how my mom used to shop, it was very boring. I shop like my dad, go on an empty stomach and buy everything that looks good.

So what happens if you have a coupon for adult diapers but don’t need them? Or if you need toothpaste but none is one sale? Or am I being too literal again? Sorry (slaps own hand).

Today Charmin was on sale and I tried to use a Cottenelle coupon. Hey, they both started with “C”. The cashier didn’t see my logic.

Joe-Allen, same here. I hate shopping. I like to get in, get what I need, and get out.

I subscribe to the Penny Pincher Gazette. It emails printable coupons to me, even coupons for local businesses as opposed to national chains.

So, once I’m done shopping, I can get my oil changed at my local shop, get my hair done at the salon down the street, and savor an ice cream treat from that new place that just opened up all at reduced prices.

(That is to say, I could do all of those things. Being flat broke isn’t helping. The sooner I get my cheaper apartment, the happier I’m gonna be.)

I guess Tia is just being economical. Good for her!

i don’t bother shopping the sales, by the time i get to the store, they are out.
