I used to be a bartender and cart-girl at a golfcourse. I thought the golfers and tournament players drank alot to numb the pain of the game. (jk) It always looked like everyone was having a good time. I just didn’t understand why they would play in freezing cold and rain.(as long as there was no lightning).
We play in the rain and cold cuz the course isn’t as crowded then. It also provides a great excuse for lousy shots. (the rain/snow/hurricane etc affected that shot).

Spell the name of the game backwards and that’s how I look at it. If not the whole course would be learning new and colorful words
