Phoebe and Her Unicorn by Dana Simpson for May 18, 2014
Transcript:
Phoebe: One bar. Marigold: It should be just a little farther. Phoebe: Aaaaaaaand... YESSSSS! I have no reception! Nobody can text me, message me, call me, email me, or tweet me! I'm FREEEEEEE! Marigold: You could have achieved the same by turning off your phone. Phoebe: Don't spoil this. It's my favorite part of the ride.

@ unicornstar: This is why I’ve kept my landline. You can still communicate with me, but you do so on my terms; and I’m not obligated to be on a 24/7/365 electronic leash.

When we go walkies up in a canyon, our smart pocketwatch goes nuts trying to find a connection, and becomes worrisomely warm unless we tell it to turn off the cell connecty thingy.
