@ **Joe-Allen “Joe” Doty. my comment was not meant as a slam and is not a slam against you. i know lots of people pick on you for your postings, but i am usually supportive of your right to say what you want and have complimented you when i liked something you said. if you decide to be rude to everyone who has posted something that can even remotely be construed as a possible insult to you, it won’t be long before people who are willing to interact with you in a positive way will decide it isn’t worth the effort, and you will be left with nothing but trolls. as for altering your screen name, i did so (as i have in the past) simply for the sake of brevity. your screen name is over three times as long as mine is, and mine gets shortened on a regular basis without complaint from me - since i know it’s me being posted to. have a good day, sir.

The preferred wording these days is “Resort” or “Park”. Colony is slightly passé now.

Thank you, yyyguy, for putting into words what most of the posters of gocomics.com feel. I think that Mr. Doty has a big chip on his shoulder that he’s waiting for somebody to knock off! I, for one, didn’t feel your comment was an insult to JAD at all.

Mr Doty has written some excellent posts. Unfortunately, he has also written posts that range from the mildly annoying to ones that would try the patience of a saint. He has also shown no hesitation to attack people who post opinions with which he disagrees.
