Sad to say but the cons have the game plan. The teabaggers are a perfect example.
First create the mailing list by holding meetings with these people.
Second when you need them to cause a ruckus (for example the town halls) call on them and give them false information (death panels) to get them whipped up to a frenzy.
Third mobilize the troops, give them a set of instructions to disrupt those town halls and make sure the Congressman has no time to react. Make a scene.
Repeat and rinse.
Now you have your own little army of protesters who will go against their own interest and are catching national attention so your base gets bigger. But its not the republicans who are doing this. Special interest groups like the insurance companies and guys like Dick Army are spearheading this movement. If Democrats were this organized they’d never lose elections again.
