And for the few voters the politician thinks might be listening, he/she merely says what is wanted. It’s become the vote of Give Me!

This reminds me of a quote from the HHGTTG “To summarize: it is a well known fact that those people who most want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it. To summarize the summary: anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job. To summarize the summary of the summary: people are a problem.”

How can a voter ‘have a clue’ when any candidate won’t give a straight answer on any question ! ! Besides, what answers they do give are all lies ! ! ! !

The question is: Would we be better off with ‘Senator Belfry’ as President or worse than we are now with ‘the idiot’ that we have ?

Well, with Belfry we’d have a pub installed in the White House—if there’s not already one there.
