Transcript:
Cathy: No one will ever look at our pictures if they stay on the computer! They have to be in albums! Irving: No one will ever look at them in albums. Cathy: But at least in albums, they'll be put away with love and respect. Irving: If no one's ever going to see them, who cares how they're put away?! Cathy: Once, I dreamed of creating keepsakes. Now, I just want to give the photos a proper burial.

Hey - everyone was thinking it, I just said it.

Cathy and Irving are never going to be able to have kids, are they? If they can’t manage the photos with just them and the dogs, no way could they cope if they had the kids pics too!

Although it would be a disaster, I would almost welcome a child storyline. Even if it was one of her friends’ kids.
LOL, ejcapulet!

Make sure to bury Irving’s parents, his golf clubs and all the techno gadgets as well!

I have boxes and boxes of photos waiting to be put in albums. When Grandma got cancer, all the album making got put on hold. But now that I’m moving, I think I’ll start up again. :)

She’s gonna need to dig a big grave if it’s to hold Irving, his parents and all his gadgets.

How about just deciding between the best, and putting them in frames, to actually get some use and joy out of them?
Out of that pile, they’ll probably get 10 or 15 good ones, and those will narrow down to 4. That’s how it always goes.

We had cats, we had lots of cat photo’s. We then had kids, forget the cats and cat photo’s, we had kid photo’s. Then we got divorced. I have 6 or 7 photo’s of the kids, none of the cats. I choose the OM-1 with three lenses. Great camera. Wish I had it.

@lightenup, you reminded me: does anyone remember a long time ago in this strip when cathy was friends with an absolutely perfect woman? (i forget her name) she was everything cathy wanted to be (slender, disciplined, organized, etc.). she got married and had a daughter whom she named Zenith (the height of perfection). there was quite a storyline about that.

That was Cathy’s friend, Andrea. Daughter Zenith and son Gus. They were in Cathy’s wedding (flower teen and ring teen).

Photo albums have become a thing of the past. I still use one and just recently updated it. But a lot of people just rely on Instagram and Facebook and their phone to keep track of photos. Its always good to have a backup just in case.
