Cathy: Organizing our photos always seemed sort of hopeless. But it's a new world. Now we have photo files in four different cameras... two different phones... three different computers... six un-imported memory chips... nine miscellaneous CDs... and an online album site! Now organizing our photos is COMPLETELY, 100% GUARANTEED HOPELESS!! Whoever dreamed that digital could make the picture so clear?

Two words. Photo Boxes. We sort ours into categories and put them in photo boxes (made to hold photos) that way they are around if we want to peruse them, but not in albums nor scrapbooks which take up too much space and time!

I have mine organized online (thanks to Mac software). While I admire what other people’s scrapbooks look like, I certainly don’t have the time for them. I print out the ones I like best and put them in frames.

It can get away from you if you take a lot of pix. After downloading them onto the computer I have to resize them and then image edit them since they’re a bit dark. Then organize them into different folders. It can be time consuming.

Just take them all in to a photo store, and have the lot put onto a software disk, then put disk into PC and voila– photos organized.

It’s like her marriage. Clearly hopeless.

So true Cathy – all the new gadgets really make life much more clear and give us so much more time for meaningful stuff too.

Just throw them all away. I have a feeling that they don’t look at the photos very often and even if they were all organized they still wouldn’t look at them. Throw them away and start fresh.
