I have extra house and car and truck keys in my wallet plus I have a whole complete set of duplicate keys at home. I lose my keys often enough and have been lucky enough to find them but I know some day my luck will run out. I’m bad ( and getting worse all the time ) for locking my keys in my car, too.
I’ve actually had a day or two like that. I once found my 1970 Kawasaki Z 650 in a bar, after three days of on and off searching for it. Exactly where I had left it! I had the keys.

Did you check your pockets? That’s usually where my keys end up.

I know the feeling. Too well.
This was such an underrated strip. Jerry Bittle was a good artist and a wry wit. Not many cartoonists are both (and a few are neither).
