The constellations, cool.

The dinosaurs? My early childhood frequent nightmares had to do with dinosaurs and other “monsters.”

Then again, we have Calvin, who is afraid of monsters under his bed, but has control of the dinosaurs in his life.

Go figure.

Hobbes has such a one track mind, gotta love him

Today’s Calvin and Hobbes strip is from July, 1990. Here’s one from a series that we read two years ago. It was actually published in 1992, two years after the series that we are currently reading. That’s because we are currently reading reruns from Bill Watterson’s second sabbatical. So Calvin and Hobbes visited the Jurassic two years before they visited themselves. Tuna with mustard??

Those pictures will definitely be on the front page of the NGC magazine.

Hobbes fed the dinosaur a banana, which probably did not exist back then. Butterfly effect?

Calvin’s dad will wonder how all the pictures of toy dinosaurs were taken with his camera

@ajr58Thanks. He never took an acting lesson but was damn good in anything he was ever in. Class act in real life – one wife for 57 years, two Purple Hearts in Korea, strong supporter of Civil Rights.

Allosaurs don’t like squishy bananas, Hobbes. You should than Calvin for getting you out of there.

Anyone else notice the Steins;Gate reference? Bill Watterson is amazing!
