Well, Calvin appears to have his film developed (I know…old technology!), but what will it show? He has a great imagination, but I don’t think that imagination is going to be depicted in the developed pictures. I’m thinking that his Mom will see plastic dinosaurs and a stuffed Hobbes. Calvin, meanwhile, will see dynamic pictures of fierce dinosaurs along with his trusty friend, Hobbes, by his side… ;)
First time readers don’t know there are comments. And regular readers know the commenters are clueless, so no harm! Anyway, they really went, and its a real Apatosaur, and they will be rich, but mom will still take care of them.
When I was still about three years old, my older brother or two sisters used to hide under the high main bed, with me standing next to it , too small to get up on it quickly.. they’d grab my ankles with scratchy nails and accompanied that with growls and snorts, scaring all whits out of me. Was wondering why Calv hasn’t yet tried to manufacture proof of the monsters there (?)
I think I still have film in a drawer or camera case, that has yet to be developed. I better get to it before they close the one hour booth at Walmart.
@Thirdguy: How about:There was a young poster from VermontWhose readers didn’t like her font…..OK, I think we’ll just give up on this one.(Carryover discussion from yesterday.)
I can’t wait to see the pictures! I read this strip judiciously when first published from 1985 to 1995; it’s good my memory is not what once was..Now, please don’t any of you ruin it for me, or any one else…
Even if the photos were real no one would believe them With all the photo editing programs out there now you can made anything. You now have 15 year old kids making photos and digital movies at home in a few hours. The same digital movies that would have taken Hollywood months or longer and cost millions of dollars just 10 or 15 years ago. A real alien could take pictures of its spaceship and its self. Then post the pictures on line and not one person would believe they are real. “Photo evidence” means nothing now days. I am just wanting for CGI evidence to be used in a court case. For we know it may have already happened.

@ORMouseworksWhy don’t you let the story play itself out instead of ruining it for people who are reading C&H for the first time?

@LinusF: Rhyming with Vermont is tough, but at least Thirdguy doesn’t live in Madagascar. Now back to our regularly scheduled comic strip……

Be fair. Allosaurus took off the Apatosaurus head like always, so you’d best use the Allosaur pics…unless you didn’t take any!!

There’s always that one person (or dino) who blinks and ruins the shot.

Dinosaurs are kind of new to doing group photos.

Hobbes (the Hobbes in the comic strip), Calvin already has a chauffeur. His name is “Mom.”
