Sergio’s not going to like this. Why? Because 1) he wasn’t invited to a sugary ice cream treat to help his diabetes a little, 2) he’ll have a bill from the credit card company and 3) he’ll have no electricity in his house.
I’m glad this scam is getting some publicity—we just had an elderly woman in our town bilked out of her life savings by a phone scammer. If they called you and you wondered if it really was the utility, or the cops, or whoever, hang up and call them back (and not at the number the scammer gave you!)
