How about George P. Bush… grandson of H.W. and nephew of W.? His mother is hispana. Could’ve sworn there was discussion about him months ago in other hispano comic strip “La Cucaracha.”

Apparently Gracie has forgotten that there is a minimum age requirement of 35 for the office of president (and vice president). Actually it is a good thing. Gracie has the intelligence and the drive to become president. All she lacks is the life experience that can help one make wise decisions.
Night-Gaunt49: You know, but I doubt many readers do. To get a party on the ballot in Texas, you have to:Get signatures from registered voters who did not vote in any primary, equal to 10% of the combined vote for governor in the previous election.Survive a SLAPP (strategic lawsuit against public participation) – there is no attempt to win as they are usually dropped just before trial – it is to eat campaign funds of the new party.Campaign with no coverage at all from the corporate media – they can, however, list other parties and claim those are the only ones on the ballot – repeatedly. Participation in “candidate surveys” won’t help, they won’t publish the response from the newbies. For the party to stay on the ballot, it needs to get at least 5% of the vote in some statewide election.I filed against the leader of the “flat earth faction” of the Texas State Board of Education (the de facto selector of textbooks for the nation). I hardly expected to win, just get three or four thousand votes, but raise needed issues. I got 7,411 votes, but a total blackout on the issues.Since then, the Green Party has remained on the ballot without any media coverage, at least in north Texas. Nationally, it is not much better. Even Rachel Maddow may not mention Greens, even in passing, although viewer-supported Democracy Now gives it the occasional coverage a minority party should rightfully get.
