When I was in 2nd grade, I knew a girl who made one for the school science fair. SECOND GRADE: NASA by now? Time to get out old year books and see if just by chance I can find her.
Ham radio op is an expensive hobby, but knowing Agnes’s adventures in trying to close the digital divide, I’m guessing she’ll connect grandma’s clock radio to a can of spam.

Turning a ham into a radio is a waste of a good ham.

When you’re old enough to drive, you’ll have to get a car will lots of antennas and a weird license plate.

Ham radio? She’ll need to pass a test for a license and learn Morse Code if she wants to advance up the ladder. Not gonna happen. lol

@gmforde — morse code has been deprecated; I’m an Extra and I can’t even read a repeater sign-off
