To Jake514 – My cat still figured out how to unroll the TP either way we put it. “B” type people need to be fined.

But if you have cats you roll under or the roll will be all over the bathroom and none on the roll.

Top-wound used to be acceptable, but ever since they enlarged the size of the tube so they could make you think they hadn’t downsized the roll, on a wall-mounted dispenser the roll tends to kick up, pressing against the wall and causing one sheet to tear off. Under-wound, it kicks away from the wall, allows easy selection of the length needed for the job at hand. Logically, under-wound is the ONLY choice!
