I had the misfortune of working at the campus helpdesk in the late 90’s when “TEAM” personality tests made their way to HR depts in the midwest. Despite having the highest or second highest logged call volume every month, despite being one of the most knowledgeable staff members everybody consulted first before escalating calls, I got marked for removal because I did not have a T, E, A, or M personality. If I was a people person, I wouldn’t be good with computers.
