Riders in the Tour de France burn energy equivalent to eating more than 30 hamburgers in a day. Louis IX of France (1214-1270) made it the law that only the king could wear diamonds. The James Bond submarine car from the movie The Spy Who Loved Me was bought in a closed container auction in 1989 for $100, and sold for nearly $1 million in 2013!

BTW a storage container auction is the same thing as a storage unit auction. The only difference its in a crate, sometimes its open sometimes its not.

Long ago, I did hear that during the hours before some athletic competition event, the athletes would eat lots of spaghetti for energy during the game/match/meet. I think protein is for REbuilding muscles torn down from the athletic event.

So the calorie burn of 30 hamburgers – is that Happy Meal hamburgers, Big Macs, or one of the 1/2 lb burgers you can get at Indie burger joints?
