Just one problem: vascular plants, of which weeds are an example, don’t have spores – they have seeds. They also have pollen (most often wind-borne), but in this case, the concern would most likely be about weed seeds blowing toward the ship. Dandelion seeds (the ones that make up the whitish-grey, spent heads of dandelions that have finished blooming) are a prime example.
