Marcus’ mother seems overly proud of him. How many volumes is she going to have by the time he gets married and has a child of his own?!

My sister-in-law has a closet full of those albums. Who the heck is going to look at them? Most have only one picture on a page. Sorry, but that whole thing is beyond me.

What happened to the cow? Don’t worry, Marcus; we won’t accuse you….

Must be a first child.

I have 2 pictures, one when I was 8 and one when I was17, I wonder what I looked like between them?

If this were written now, Marcus’ mom would post 72 pictures of Marcus on Facebook with the caption, “Today, Marcus visited the Whole Foods Market!”

Because the strip, that was originally published after yesterday’s, has a July 4 theme, it was skipped, and replaced by this December 1, 2007 strip, which was skipped, when it would have normally appeared in the rerun.My dad made a toy barn (even has glass in the windows), along with a windmill, for me to play with (store bought toy farm animals) when I was Alice’s age. I still have them 60+ years later. Funny, the things you keep, but never use.

I’m in my 70s and there are about 10 pictures of me growing up. Luckily my youngest Granddaughter looks just like me. Its eerie. She also has my personality down to the motor mouth. Its fun watching her! Now I know exactly what I was like as a child.

Wish I’d thought of that when my kids were little….
