I have that feeling daily.

I think CB will need Lucy’s psychiatric services today, but it won’t be the freebie he got in panel 1 & 2. Cost you a nickel Charlie!

The ordinary days are precious. Nothing spectacular may happen, but “spectacular” can also mean traumatic, life-shattering and terrible. See also hurricanes, tornadoes, etc.

Of course this will lead CB to Lucy’s “nickel plated” approach to Psychiatric Help. All of which leads to the same results. Sorry Charlie..

There’s a Chinese curse that goes “May you live in interesting times”. Ordinary is just fine. :~)

As long as we are quoting silly concepts, what about: “Never do today, what can be put off until tomorrow”?.It is, of course a spin on a quote attributed to Thomas Jefferson: “Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today.”.I’m liking the first one…
