Poor, pathetic Linus.

Never gamble the life of a loved one, kid.

Poor kid is cracking up without his blankie.

Poor Linus, thanks to his blanket hating grandmother giving up smoking he has no blanket!

Blanket withdrawal’s a b****.

Don’t take up smoking. You’ll smell bad, everything around you of yours will smell bad, and the cost of the habit will kill you, never mind the bad stuff in the cigarettes themselves.

Saw a sign at a ballpark, the last time the players were threatening to strike: .“I GAVE UP SMOKING. I CAN GIVE UP BASEBALL.”

Unlike the other unseen adults in the Peanuts universe, I formed a mental picture of what the blanket-hating grandma looks like. I always loved how terrified Linus got when she was mentioned. Blanket-hating aside, she probably wasn’t that bad. Lucy had no problems with her and, many years later, Rerun seemed to enjoy talking to her on the phone.

Early signs of withdrawal for Linus. Just wait Linus; it won’t be getting any better…

Try a blanket patch Linus.

Linus can always take up posting on internet comic sites as a new vice.

All he has to do is catch Grandma sneaking a smoke.

If he had married someone else, you, Lucy and Rerun wouldn’t be here, Linus.
