Pits are fantastic dogs, incredibly eager to do whatever is necessary to please their owner. It’s certain pit owners that are the problem, not the breed itself. Successfully ban pits and the problem people will turn to Rottweilers, Dobermans, etc., etc. (both also very sweet, eager-to-please breeds).
The spread of ignorant stereotypes and media hysteria can be found even here and it is regrettable. I suspect Mr. Moore is having problems with his email at this point. There are many like myself would would be more than happy to educate him.

All dogs can and will bite if provoked enough. The problem with pit bulls is that they are ‘designed’ to do greater damage when they attack.
