As we celebrate our Independence Day here, I’d like to offer a belated apology to all our Brit cousins for our appalling lack of courtesy back in ’76. Seemed like a good idea at the time, but the current state of affairs makes one wonder.

Linda is doing well, and I have been ordered OUT! Just a joke, her son Lennie, showed up this morning and talked to his mom. She is having her hair done tomorrow by her usual stylist, and he is taking his wife Judith and me to their cabin on the lake. We will be back Sunday. JPSteve, I hope you are doing well.
