Well, helper gorilla helped… a little. (Don’t go complaining to Chazz about feeling car sick, Poncho, since you spitted out the pill.)

Somehow I do not recall Poncho getting ill when he was on the railroad trip with Hudson several months back.

My boys are on multiple pills each twice a day. One gets pain med in powder form several times a day as well. I hide the pills and powder in things they love—peanut butter, tuna, liver, etc. All things good for them and they scarf it down not knowing there is a surprise inside!

Poncho certainly is a unique dog. My hounds love taking a pill.. just as long as its surrounded in bacon or cheese!!! mmm … no helper chimp needed! :)

My Golden HATES wind on his face…. or neck, or shoulders, or anywhere ELSE on his body. He hides on the floor in the back seat.

I had a cat that could hold a pill long enough to spit it out like that. We’d get it in his mouth, rub his throat to encourage him to swallow, let him go when we thought it was down, and he’d go spit the pill out under the table.
