I was drumming for the Robbin Thompson Band back in 76. We opened for Little Feat. Lowell George still was alive. Pure Prairie League opened before us. There was this singer in PPL that was knocking me out. One number he sang by himself while playing mandolin. I said,“We are following this guy?” Turned out to be Vince Gill.

That is exactly what I said last time I put on roller skates, “these skates should be on someone elses feet.”

I’m impressed by anyone who can skate on a tree branch high up in the tree.
