I love Phoebe’s dad, he reminds me so much of mine! Right down to being an uber-geek who watches cartoons and plays video games with me. We’re both very lucky girls. :^)

Yes, Mom’s smile is very sweet in the last panel. And, yes, Phoebe is fortunate in her parents AND her friends.

Remember Kamp Krusty on The Simpsons? Homer told Bart he could go to Kamp if he didn’t get any failing grades. Bart tried to fix it by changing his D to an A+. Lisa laughed and asked why Bart couldn’t forge a plausible grade..Then, Homer saw it and complained, “You don’t think very much of me, do you, boy? And a D makes a B so easily. You just got greedy.”

I thought he did change them to B’s

I also love the mom’s grin in panel four. Somehow that’s just touching. I like that other people noticed it, too.

This comic has the best parents, faces, and parents’ faces.

Apparently, Phoebe doesn’t process light sarcasm yet. That was cute. Everything in panel four is cute.
