The Boondocks by Aaron McGruder for March 16, 2020
Transcript:
Huey: The purpose of New Year's resolutions is to keep the masses demoralized, reinforcing the status quo. For example, a person reolves to lose weight. But every day he's bombarded with carefully crafted McDonald's ads meant to break his will. Soon, he eats a big mac. Unable to change his own behavior, he abandons hope for systemic change hope is crushed. Caesar: I'm so happy I get to listen to this kinda thing for another whole year. Huey: Don't mention it.

I gave them up after a nasty experience in a branch in London back in the 80´s, never been to one since.

I haven’t eaten anything from MickeyDs in years.
I was spoiled in college by the Burgers at McGuire’s Irish Pub in Pensacola, Florida.
They don’t serve “Quarter Pounders”. They serve 3/4 Pounders. And a much wider choice of toppings.
Including the Incredible Garbage Burger. “It’s got Everything. It’s positively Disgusting”.
