And now anti-abortion ads. I’m all for anti-abortion ads, but this one directly encourages women to ignore strong medical advice. While I admire any woman who is willing to keep her baby to term, a dead mother is still typically a dead baby.
I have not problem with the ad, as long as it is about her choice not to end her pregnancy. That was her choice! You can make your own choice, unless the GOP takes it away from you.
And they are definately trying to take any choice away. If they do we’ll see lots of dead or maimed mothers and babies. At 73 I’ve seen what no legal abortion or birth control do. Much better to teach sex education at young ages and provide truthful, accurate information along with birth control and health care for those who don’t have it, to help prevent the need for abortion.
The countries who do this have much lower pregnancy rates. But then they also have better health care for all. Some here would rather just let all the poor die off.
Actually, can’t help but notice football has about the “gayest” uniforms, and “behaviors” in athletics.
“Free” speech (Supreme Court new definition) does say run the ad, and make the money, especially as I”m pretty sure CBS affiliates also carry the “700 Club” and other religious infomercials.
@dtroutma - The issue isn’t with them running the ad. The issue is with them previously refusing to run an anti-Bush/war ad but now are contradicting themselves and running this one.
But hip54, you don’t mean to say that all wouldn’t be sweetness and light and all babies/children wouldn’t be wanted and well cared for if only those wicked abortionists, feminists, etc, would just go away (after being shot, if necessary) ?…
