Don't you think he'll make some unfortunate observations? Huey: Like what? Granddad: What in the - oh my good lord have mercy!! It's up to my d@*m waist!! Huey: Oh, you mean like how we never got around to cutting the grass? Riley: Yup.

They said Grandpa hasn’t left the house for a few weeks, I’d say maybe two or three weeks, because of the heatwave…but he must have been to the grocery store just to buy milk and bread at least…
If it was a heatwave, grass would have dried up. Around here, no one cuts grass in a heatwave…Sometimes in lasts three weeks. We never water our lawn in the summer, it’s a water waster. No soon does a rainfall happen later on in August, does the grass perk up as if it just woke up.

It sounds like the Freemans live in a nice neighborhood that would probably have an HOA. I’m surprised Granddad hasn’t been getting nastygrams from them about the state of their lawn.
