Caesar: I've decided that the music industry doesn't offer much security, so I'm working on comedy as a backup. Check this out... your momma is so dumb, she set the house on fire using the CD burner. Huey: Eh... it's okay... Caesar: Okay?! That was my best joke! Huey: It didn't challenge me. I like my comedy to expose the folly of the world we live in. We need more comedians using humor to question the status quo. Guys who aren't afraid to get political. Richard Pryor, Dick Gregory, George Carlin, Chris Rock - that kind of thing. Caesar: John Ashcroft's momma is so dumb, she set the house on fire using the CD burner. Huey: Now that's funny...

Dying is easy, but comedy is hard. Not to mention, subjective.

Huey is absolutely correct. I told a former facebook friend who was using tired old tropes in his “comedy” that good comedians make you think. He interpreted that to mean I wanted Einstein’s Theory of Relativity explained in joke form, but I told him that anyone can make fun of other people. To be a great comic you have to be able to get people to see mundane things in a funny way. You know, make them think about the world they live in.
Last I heard he was not only still just making fun of people, but also sympathetic to the nazi movement, so I ended up blocking him forever.
